Paprika and maple dried chickpea

Let’s be honest, chickpeas and other leguminous are rarely the favorites of children, but they are full of nutriments and really filling. The texture of the leguminous are always the biggest issue. Although, if you are vegetarian, these are a great protein that can replace meat. This snack is a great way to incorporate chickpeas into the diet without it seeming like a big deal. The fact that they are dried is making them crunchier and less pasty. It really is a nice way to get used to chickpeas, before eating them naturally. Also, it makes for a great snack, it is amazing when you are on the run or when you are looking for something crunchy to get rid of your crisp cravings.

The nice thing about this recipe is that it is really versatile. You can switch up the spices according to your preferences or if you want to create different snacks from week to week. Basically, it is no boring recipe since you don’t have to get used to it, you can adapt it in lots of ways.
